About Dr. Jillian Cerda Ramos
Hi, my name is Jillian! I’m an avid lover of science, the arts, and the gift of movement.
With over 8 years as a board-certified physical therapist and 11 years in direct patient care, my goal as a provider has always been to see each one of my patients for the unique individual they are. Whether I am working with someone who wants to sit through a movie without having to use the restroom every few minutes, or a recently postpartum mom who needs support in her new body, I truly love being able to help people of all backgrounds and identities meet their personal goals. I consider it a great privilege to be a part of someone’s healing process.
While in undergrad, I spent my summers as an orthopedic Physical Therapy Aide in the Central Valley, where I worked extensively with folks in blue collar jobs and the agricultural industry, as well as older adults and young athletes. I also briefly interned in the Athletic Training Department at USF, helping collegiate athletes prepare for and recover from their respective sports. After receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU, I continued to work in the orthopedics setting; over time, I began to notice patient after patient that could benefit from pelvic physical therapy. I eventually decided to specialize in pelvic health and joined the team at Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center (PHRC) in Berkeley. During my time at PHRC, I was fortunate enough to be able to help folks with a variety of complex pelvic floor conditions improve their quality of life and take the reigns on their pelvic health.
At Libra Pelvic Physical Therapy, I strive to implement what I have learned over the years—and continue learning as much as I can!—to provide the best quality care for my local community.
To continue this important work, I refill my cup by spending time with my loved ones, working out, reading, and musing in my journal. I also love curating playlists that match my current moods and obsessions, eating bread, and any excuse to make a handmade card.
Wherever you are your your pelvic health journey, I am here to help. I love being a physical therapist, and I would be honored to be yours. Let’s work together!
